One such application, the Digimarc Discover vision demo, uses multiple content identification technologies – digital watermarking, QR, barcode, and audio fingerprinting – to give smartphones the ability to recognize and interact with different forms of media. Digimarc Discover won third place in Social Networking, Content & Entertainment category at the 2011 CTIA E-Tech Awards.
